How to Start Lifting
No gym, just fill out a form, use the provided weights, just 20 minutes out of your day!
Your first week workout
30 minutes. No equipment. Do this 2–3 times this week with at least one rest day between sessions.
Bodyweight — no equipment
Start here. These exercises build real strength and require nothing but floor space.
Push-ups
Keep your core tight and lower chest to the floor.
Squats
Feet shoulder-width apart, chest up, knees track over toes.
Lunges
Step forward, lower back knee toward floor, keep front shin vertical.
Plank
Straight line from head to heels. Don't let hips sag.
Pull-ups
If available. Use a bar or door frame pull-up bar.
With dumbbells or bands
Add resistance when bodyweight feels easy. Light dumbbells or resistance bands work great.
Dumbbell Bicep Curl
Put the weights in your hands and curl them up to your shoulders.
Dumbbell rows
Brace on a chair or bench. Pull elbow back, not up.
Dumbbell squats
Hold dumbbells at sides or goblet style at chest.
Resistance band exercises
Same movement patterns as above — bands provide progressive resistance.
